Standard Truss Geometries

SWC can fabricate Heavy Timber Trusses in a variety of well known truss geometries using connected straight members. Typical designs include:

• Traditional King Truss
• Traditional Queen Truss
• Fink or W-Shape Truss
• Howe or M-Shape Truss
• Scissor Truss
• Mono Truss
• Parallel Chord Truss

There are unlimited variations of these designs when using different beam sizes, overhangs, repeated element patterns and other feature changes. Most designs above are configured to bear weight and are well-suited for Structural applications.
